Kids Taught to Hate and Kill in Communist China
This cartoon book for children is called “The Shining Red Star(also Sparking Red Star) ”. It is one of the “patriotic education” cartoon books dedicated to CCP China’s 70th birthday.
On this page, the text says, at night, the little boy, the little red star called Dongzi sneaked into the room of a landlord called Hu Hansan, and poured oil on his bed.
On this page, the text says that the little boy threw a lit candle on the bed, and burned the landlord to death, and ended his sinful life in flames.
When I shared this on Twitter, people asked me what the premise of this cartoon book is. And I answered: It's OK to kill an enemy. In order for CCP to establish a brand new world, the old world must be smashed. Landlords belong to the old world & should be killed. There is a movie about this "little red star" too. I watched it as a kid.
What you are seeing is the poster of that movie. It was produced during the Cultural Revolution. What surprised me was that I didn’t know that this kind of hate education and culture is still going on in China with some nicer, and more fashionable new packages. So in this sense, the Cultural Revolution has never ended in China.
In 2021, kindergarten kids in #Shanghai are required to "cosplay" "little red star" Pan Dongzi in the movie called "The Shining Red Star" to kill. Parents are required to film their “cosplay”, as this is their homework.
Kids in #CCPChina are now required to do killing & their parents are to film their "righteous" actions as this is their homework. This "act" shows a Chinese woman leading a Japanese soldier to the CCP soldiers' ambush site, then getting killed by the Japanese. And then the CCP soldier kills the Japanese and declares victory with a "Yeah!" at the end.
