"I Saw a Fox!" - The Days of "Pics or It Didn't Happen" May be Gone Forever.

"I Saw a Fox!" - The Days of "Pics or It Didn't Happen" May be Gone Forever.

This morning when I went downstairs, our two dogs eagerly requested to go out. As I opened the door, I noticed a "dog" sitting in the yard that looked just like our yellow dog. Confused, I looked down and saw that our dog was still inside.

As soon as the door opened, the two dogs “shot” like arrows towards the other "dog," which quickly turned around and ran away, a large tail "flying" in the air.

I then realized that it was a fox!

The fox quickly jumped over a small stream not far away from our house and disappeared.

The two dogs didn't bark or chase after it, they just let it be...

I told my husband, who had already gone to work, about it, and his response was: “We could feed it.”

I didn’t quite understand and asked again, “What do you mean by ‘We could feed it’ ?”

He said, “Leave some food out for it.”

Wait, "feed" a fox? I couldn't wrap my head around it. In my mind, foxes are chicken thieves (even though we don't have chickens), they're bad guys, so how should we "feed" them?

When I shared this story online, one netizen commented, "Great love knows no boundaries."

Yes, my husband is a Westerner, whilst I am Chinese. His way of thinking and conclusions often differ from mine...

The image above this article was created by AI, not a real photo. I didn't have my phone with me when I opened the door, so I had AI create a picture of what I saw.

A friend saw the last picture that AI created based on my photo and said that in this day and age, online dating is probably even more dangerous since "a picture is worth a thousand words" is no longer valid.

Yes, the days of "seeing is believing" may be long gone.

An AI-generated "farewell-themed" picture based on my photo.

This is the original picture I provided to AI. It was taken on my 30th birthday.

This is the original image of the fox I provided for AI to draw, which I found online.

This is a real photo I took with my phone in front of our house, which I provided as a background for AI to use. The creek in front of our house is right there by the woods.

Update: I was able to capture this fox on camera two days later, on Apr 19.

I was writing on the second floor and accidentally noticed it, so I quickly picked up my phone and took a video. Although it was behind the glass, it seemed to have noticed me taking its video and quickly ran away.
