Across the Ages

Hope on the horizon
calm amidst the storm
like a lantern burning
through the darkest night
stretching to the farthest dawn.
A call from highest mountains
a billow of sails wide
like an endless voyage
upon unchartered seas
with the promise of golden tides.
Let me hold the light
within my hands
courage within my heart
let me shine across the ages
a rising sun never to depart.
