Several days after my daughter’s arrival from Beijing to Sydney, we were having a chat with a few friends. My daughter said that she worried about somebody, who had very bad health. A friend said,”How about introduce her to Falun Gong? You see, we Falun Gong practitioners all enjoy good health.”
我女兒從北京飛至悉尼幾天後，有一次我們跟幾個朋友在一起聊天，女兒談到爲一個什麼人的健康擔心，一位朋友說：「讓她煉法輪功吧。你看我們煉法輪功的身體都可好了。」
My daughter replied with a very stern face, and in a very defensive tone, ”I don’t believe it at all!”
女兒板著臉說：「我才不信呢！」
I signed in my heart, knowing that the Communist Party’s lies about Falun Gong were still having an impact on her. However, I said nothing, nor did I try to contradict her in any way. I knew by instinct that the result wouldn’t be good if I did.
我心裏隱隱地痛了一下，知道中共對法輪功的造謠宣傳仍然在影響著她。不過，我什麼都沒有說，我知道來日方長，現在我們已經在一起了，還怕謠言嗎？以女兒的性情來說，如果操之過急會適得其反。
